Sunnee is Executive Director at i.d.e.a. Museum (since 2005) Mesa, Arizona. She was Deputy Director at Heritage Museums & Gardens, MA and has worked in education departments at Fuller Museum of Art, MA; Birmingham Museum of Art, AL; and Columbus Museum, GA. She holds a B.F.A., in Art Education, from University of Massachusetts and an M.Ed., Creative Arts in Learning, from Lesley University. A graduate of both the Seminar for Historical Administration and Mesa Leadership Training & Development, Sunnee is also a Virginia G. Piper Trust Fellow. She has served on the following boards: New England Museum Association, American Association of Museum Volunteers, Soroptimist International of Mesa, and is a MAP Peer Reviewer for the American Alliance of Museum’s (since 2003). She loves travel, theater, music, swimming and lives with her husband Edward and Brittany “fur baby” Edge in East Mesa.
