
Kate Lewandowski received her MPH in Maternal and Child Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She currently serves as a Maternal and Child Health Epidemiologist for Maternal Health in the Office of Assessment and Evaluation for the Bureau of Women’s and Children’s Health at the Arizona Department of Health Services. As an Maternal Health Epidemiologist, she provides support for the data and evaluation needs of maternal health programs within the Bureau, as well as to external stakeholders. Some of Kate’s main interests include the perinatal period for moms and babies, including birth spacing, prenatal care, infant feeding, adverse outcomes, and health equity in access and quality of care.
